Carnival Lofts South Africa are proud to host the FCI Grand Prix Race as well as the Summer 2017 Race (1st prize of €10 000.)

Entry fee €300 per team shipped (A team consist of 5 pigeons one entry and 4 reserve pigeons; transport cost as well as quarantine costs from Europe must be paid by the entrant!)
For local fanciers from South Africa and neighboring countries the entrance fee will be €300 there are no additional shipping cost or quarantine costs involved for a team of 5 pigeons. (The rand vs. euro exchange rate will be pegged at R17 for €1 the costs for local fancier to enter a team of 5 pigeons will be R5100 one is then entered and the other 4 are reserve pigeons that can be entered at any time into the final race at a cost of €300 per pigeon).
All 5 pigeons shipped per team can win money in the 3 x hot spot races. Only ENTERED pigeons compete for any prize money in the final race. A pigeon may be entered into the final race at any time by paying €300.
Intake is open till 30 September 2016. (Pigeons to be rung with officially recognized 2016 rings. Please note: no pigeons previously entered in any other competition at Carnival Lofts will be accepted.)

All 5 pigeons per team can win prize money in the 3 hot spots
If a minimum of 120 teams are entered the prize money per hot spot will be:
1st – 1000 Euro
2nd – 10th 300 Euro
After the final race we auction the birds, the first R500 will be offset against costs with no kickback to the breeder. The breeder gets 50% of the selling prize in excess of the initial R500.
Every entrant must supply a pedigree of his pigeons on auction in order to be entitled to this kickback.
Anything not covered herein will be published on our website and/or announced by subsequent short messages notice or emails. Kindly pay due attention to these as they will become part of the rules of entry.
The 1st prize of €10 000 or R170 000 is subject to a minimum of 120 Entered teams. For every 5 pigeons entered one prize money position will be paid out in the final race. i.e. 500 paid entries = 100 prize money positions, 200 paid entries = 40 prize money positions.
Shipping Dates from Europe for 2016:
3rd Shipment – Pigeons to be delivered to ATF between 1 June 2016 and 10 June 2016
4th Shipment – Pigeons to be delivered to ATF between 15 July 2016 and 25 July 2016
